Ash Ketchum

Ash Ketchum comes from the small town known as Pallet Town where he dreams to become a Pokemon Master. When he was 10, he got his trainers license from Professor Oak and also received his life long friend Pikachu. During their first meeting, Pikachu and Ash had their differences but after an encounter with wild Spearow, Pikachu and Ash bonded.

Hishako Shougi

Hishako is a sweet loving mother whom cares for her son, Shougi Keima. She briefly helps search for May's lost pokeballs in Episode #389. Hishako is also the one whom found a ring which was very valuable to herself and her husband, Shougi Kakubei.

Kakubei Shougi

Kakubei is a joyous person whom loves to share his love with his wife, Shougi Hishako. He is always welcoming and tries to help everyone in anyway that he can. Kakubei is the husband of Hishako and also the father of Keima. He briefly helps in the search for May's Pokeballs in Episode #389 but is distracted when Hishako finds their lost "valuable" ring.

Keima Shougi

Keima comes onto the scene in Episode #389: Linoone?! A Type of Friendship! where his Linoone is involved in stealing valuable objects and having behavioral issues. He meets up with Ash and everyone after an encounter with Linoone and May's stolen pokeballs.

Luna

Luna is a trainer of a Scizor or better known as "Red Inazuma". She is seen briefly in the anime where she takes part in a two part battle with both Ash and May. The first battle consists of her Scizor ("Red Inazuma") and Ash's Pikachu and Sceptile. After taking a harsh defeat from Ash, her next battle is between Scizor and May's Squirtle to whom she also is defeated by.

Wakana

A contestant of the Yuzuriha Convention!, Wakana makes her first appearance in the contest with her Surskit and becomes a respectful rival of Haruka. Wakana also has a crush on Drew as she blushes everytime he makes his appearance.
