Ash Ketchum comes from the small town known as Pallet Town where he dreams to become a Pokemon Master. When he was 10, he got his trainers license from Professor Oak and also received his life long friend Pikachu. During their first meeting, Pikachu and Ash had their differences but after an encounter with wild Spearow, Pikachu and Ash bonded.

Ash will almost go into any situation without thinking of the consequences. He also deeply cares for his Pokemon counterparts and believes in the releationship between pokemon and trainer. Ash also meets up with two other people, including an aspiring trainer from Cerulean City known as Misty / Kasumi and Brock from Pewter City. Both joined Ash on his quest after he challenged them to a gym battle.
