Who could imagine we would see a Pikachu in his
natural habitat? With Pokémon Snap this can be possible! From the very first moment you
switch on your Nintendo 64, a colorfull intro will let us know what's all about this time.
Its graphics are awesome, and there are tons of secrets, which I will mention shortly. The
game based on taking pictures of Pokémon. It looked so cool, but only true Pokémon
lovers will enjoy this game. Huh, isn't that Todd from the Animé? He will be the main
charecter in this game, and his objective will be to snap all the Pokémon in the Pokémon
Island with his camera. In this island I've got to mention that there are only 63 out of
the 151 we actually know. Professor Oak will personally rate all your photos, and give
them a score.
Your mission is to take the best Pokémon
photos, to help Professor Oak, which has told you to visit this islands. Oak will let you
some devices, such as the Zero-One. The Zero One is a vehicle which traves through the
rails. You won't have free movement, the Zero-One always will be moving, so you've got to
be quick too. The Zero-One has the ability to change form and travel through water, air
and ground. This will depend on the stage climatical condtions and its situation. There
are six amazing routes to cross. While travelling you will see Pidgeys flying near you,
Diggletts coming out from the ground in a tunnel, a flock of Charmanders following you and
fighting for food, and even Pikachus jumping near the beach, surfing or even flying with
Articuno!
When travelling through each of the seven stages, which are around seven
minutes long, but you have to constantly go back to levels to capture the hidden Pokémon.
You will have a maximum of 60 photo film for each level. That doesn't mean you've got to
use them all! Also Oak will help you by giving apples, which you will be able to throw to
the wild Pokémon and Soon after you get Pokémon food top make the creatures act funny.
Pester Balls, a new type of balls which are gas filled Pokéballs that force Pokémon out
of their hiding places and into your Pokémon report. Yet another item is the Poké-Flute
which wakes up sleepy Pokémon or just pisses Pikachu and Jigglypuff off. Your last and
most useful item is the Dash Engine, which helps speed through the levels. But to our
sadness, this game has no mobility , you are on a stupid track.
Americans can save the favorite pictures in your scrapbook, and then you can print them up
at Blockbuster video for $3.00.
